Loca FM

El día 24 de Marzo de 2008 recibí una llamada. No era una llamada cualquiera, era la de Loca FM. 

Ramsés López, así me llaman y me llamo; soy un joven madrileño que reside en la capital, que estudió Económicas y Periodismo, pero el interés por la radio venía ya de muchísimo antes. A los 16 años nos cruzamos, ella (la radio) y yo. Poco después se presentaron otros caminos a seguir: la prensa impresa (PSM, Top Games & Grupo Zeta), online (TopGames Online & Intaken.com) o la televisión (Onda6 TV & Net TV); han sido experiencias  de las que guardo muy buenos recuerdos. Diferentes etapas que han ido siempre ligadas a lo que me ha llenado desde que lo probé por primera vez… ¡¡hacer radio!! 

He apretado los botones de emisoras, nacionales y locales (en Madrid), de diferentes estilos Pop (MQM Radio, con “su Bisbal”, su “Oreja de Van Gogh”, Estopa…) y Dance (MQM Dance y Flaix FM, con “su Kate Ryan”, Milc Inc., David Guetta…). De ellas sobretodo me he llevado buenos momentos y aprendí muchísimo. Nunca olvidaré la primera metedura de pata, la segunda y... ¿por qué no?... ¡¡tercer tirón de orejas del jefe!! Pero, como dicen por casa… de los errores se aprende, ¡¡vaya que sí se aprende!! 

Desde Abril de 2008, le estaré agradecido a la dirección (jefazos) de Loca FM que me dieron toda su confianza para apretar el play de sus discos, al mensajero que hizo que escucharan mi prueba, y que hoy en día es compi,  a mis compañeros de todas las épocas, que me han aguantado, y hasta me han escuchado cantar incluso cuando no querían, así como a todos mis amigos y familia que me han soportado cuando he dicho (y digo) en algún momento “espera espera que este tema es…”. Lo siento colegas pero es que he sido siempre un maniático de las adivinanzas (jeje).

Loca FM no era, ni es, ni será una emisora más. Era la emisora que escuchaba (y escucharé) cuando: salía de estudiar, trabajar, o incluso cuando me iba a tomar un “refresquito de cola”. 

Como DJ, a lo largo de este año hemos sacado la maleta 'a pasear' unas cuantas veces por salas de todo el país como Pacha (Tarragona), Love Show - Radical (Torrijos - Toledo), La Nochevieja Universitaria de Salamanca con 40.000 personas(Plaza Mayor de Salamanca), Passion (Málaga), Botanic (Navarra), RockStar (San Sebastián - Donostia),  en las carrozas del desfile del Orgullo Gay 2010 (Madrid), Ibiza White Experience 2010 e Ibiza White Experience 2011 (Ibiza), House Café (Granada), Puerto Principe (Tarragona) Idem (Córdoba), La Masía Summer Festival (Tarragona), Zouk (San Sebastián - Donostia), Rolex (Córdoba), Ami 7 (Granada), Beluga Beach (Malaga) o en Gala Night (Ibiza), entre otras.

La programación de Loca Fm, - 24hrs al día, los 7 de la semana y los 365 del año-  puedes escucharla por todos los diales en España, y por la web LOCAFM.com. Si te sobra un huequecillo, nos escuchamos esta temporada 2010/2011 en sesión matinal de 10 a 12, con TODOS los éxitos del Dance, LOCA HITS; o empezamos un nuevo fin de semana todos los viernes de 22 a 00 mezclándonos con Radio MaliBOOM BOOM y Tuenti, en VITAMINA DANCE!!!

On the 24th March 2008 I received a call.  It was not an ordinary call, it was Loca FM.

Ramses Lopez, this is my name and this is how they call me; I am a Madrilenian youth who lives in the capital, studied Economics and Journalism, but my deep interest in the radio started much before. When I was 16 I had my first contact with the radio. Soon after, other alternatives came into my way: the press (Psm, Top Games and Grupo Zeta), online (TopGames Onlines and Intaken.com), or T.V. (Onda6 TV and Net TV); they have all been incredible experiences of which I have good memories. Different stages which have always had a close bond to what fully fulfills me since I tried it the first time…the radio!!!

I have worked in various radio stations, national and local ones (in Madrid), completely different one from the other (MQM, with “Bisbal”, “Oreja de Van Gogh, Estopa…); dance (MQM dance and Flaix FM, with Kate Ryan, Milk Inc, David Guetta…). From these radio stations, I have had brilliant times and I learned a lot. I will never forget my first blunder, or the second, or why not??Even the third telling off from my boss!! But as everyone knows, one always learns from one’s mistakes, oh yes, I definitely learnt!!!

Since April 2008, I will always be grateful to Loca FM’s Management for their trust and giving me the responsibility to put on their records, to the courier delivery who was the one in charge of taking my  audition to Loca FM and who nowadays is my work colleague, to my colleagues who have been with me in all my jobs and have supported me even when I used to sing the songs and they did not want to listen to me, as well as all my friends and family who have put up with me when I used to say “hold on and the song coming up is…”. I am sorry guys, but you know I have always been a maniac in guessing riddles (hahaha). Loca Fm was not, is not and will not be just a simple radio station. It used to be the radio station that was always on when I used to study, work or even when I would go out for a drink.

Loca FM’s programmes- 24 hours, 7 days a weeks, 365 days a year- can be listened throughout the whole of Spain and online. If you have time, we are everyday, from 10 till 12 in the morning; or we start the weekend every Friday (22 until 00), mixing with Radio MaliBOOM BOOM and Tuenti, in the programme called VITAMINA DANCE!!!
